An Orchestrated Chaos

25th July 2020, a scene that marked all of Mauritian's hearts. Many lives were lost, and this marine disaster caused immense trouble both for Men and marine creatures. The Wakashio incident could have been prevented if instant actions were taken, which was not the case. Thus, an Orchestrated Chaos. Inspired by this episode, I created this piece of art. A mermaid that represents both marine creatures and humans trapped in heavy oil spillage and simultaneously being hit by man-made arrows. She is struggling for freedom, but death is on the horizon. Her life is represented by 2 Meduses that are leaving the body.
