This work is like a timeline on the marine world, where the dinosaur went extinct and the rest of the animals present will follow one day. It is a transition from the positive to the negative, a warning on how things will happen. The ecosystem is digesting a slow poison. The technique used is mixed media, this technique really helps with differentiating the different layers of the painting.’Changes’ is the middle painting, it shows that we are in the process of losing more from this world. Personally, when I entered the big world many things changed in my life, creating this inner fear that everything has to be taken more seriously. Even if the colors used are bright and attractive, it does not impact the meaning of the painting but it is able to show how beautiful those marine creatures are. Those colors are able to maintain an attraction to the eyes of the public, which makes the will to look more present. An ecosystem is a fragile element, at any given moment it can just turn bad if it is not respected, seeing what will happen helps in acknowledging this factor.
