Rescue for broadening
Dhanishta YukuluMy work focuses on preserving our coral reefs so that they can continue to grow. It’s done in a circular shape to symbolize our round ocean, as well as the belief that coral reefs will continue to broaden infinitely to protect our little island from storms. Furthermore, I painted several fish and a sea turtle because they rely on coral reefs for refuge, spawning sites, and predator protection. We won’t be able to consume fish or any other living things that dwell beneath water if they don’t reproduce and if coral reefs aren’t present; so, OUR CORAL REEFS SHOULD BE PROTECTED! I did, however, utilize vivid colors for the coral reefs to make them stand out in my artwork, and a monotone blue for the background to simply portray our ocean. The coral reef is essential to the protection of our shoreline. Millions of species live on coral reefs. Man should take greater responsibility by refraining from erecting concrete constructions along our vulnerable coastlines. Small islands like ours will vanish in the near future if they continue to harm our shores!
