Spawning coral

Spawning corals is about the sexual reproduction of corals. It is a rare phenomenon which happens at night and lasts only a few days. The marine ecosystem then takes the appearance of a micro galaxy. Ashore, the event manifests itself as a pink tide. The latter happened in Mauritius a few months after the Wakashio disaster, signalling reef rejuvenation.
