Survival I

the artwork depicts a lush coral ecosystem with various varieties of bright coloured corals, but with white patches lurking which signify coral bleaching spoiling the beauty of the scene. The corals now begin a fight for their survival. This artwork attempts to bring attention to the danger beautiful coral ecosystems are currently facing, and for some, already trying to surmount and survive. Coral bleaching events are increasing all around the world as sea temperatures are rising. Our hope, or mine at least, is for us to realize the importance of these events as a chain reaction to a much greater calamity.
