I arrived in Mauritius a few months after the oil crisis that damaged the natural ecosystem and scenary. The Government put in efforts to try and restore it back to it’s original state. When I went on my first catamaran tour, we arrived at an island that was so beautiful with clear waters. My painting was inspired by that experience cause that’s how I’ve always pictured Mauritius. A beautiful island with clear waters.
