It's a story about how life (green),with difficulty(red), gradually emerged from water (blue), and how pollution (black, yellow) gradually stripped it of its beauty and essence. By the end of the tale, we do return to the blue and the green, but they appear faded, almost weakened.
Each page is hand-marbled, with the exception of the endpapers, which were painted using paint and wheat flour.
The cover is made from a collage of hand-painted paper, individually cut with a scalpel and pasted one by one
to try to emulate water but also act as a sort of foreshadow to the contents of the book.
