Saint Brandon is a remote archipelago of sand banks, shoals and islets about 430 km northeast of the island of Mauritius, and hosts the biggest concentration of seabirds in the western Indian Ocean. Fairy Terns (Gygis Alba) live, breed, and nest on many of these small islands. I spent a number of early mornings photographing these lovely and gregarious seabirds just after sunrise. This is one of my favorites.
